Tourist visiting Corbett National Park will not have to be disappointed due to the safari seat not available or booking being full. In view of the increasing trend of tourists, the new Ringora Zone or Garjia safari zone in Corbett now started for safari from November. Girija is new safari zone being added which is now available for tourists for enjoying safari.
Garjia is a very popular jungle area of the picturesque Jim Corbett National Park. This tourism zone is enriched with a large variety of floral and faunal species. When the tourist's preference in terms of safari is concerned Garjia gives a tough competition to Dhikala tourism zone. The zone is popular for its wonderful landscape and it is very cool and calm place. The dense forest and its natural beauty is admired by visitors. This region is one of the most tiger reach area of the Corbett Park.
Garjiya Tourism Zone is the Eight eco-tourism zone of Jim Corbett National Park that was brought on the India tourism map in 2021. After Dhikala, its Garjiya Zone that offers the best jeep safari possibility in Jim Corbett National Park. This picturesque section of the Jim Corbett National Park is mainly noticeable for its large grass fields such as Chaurs and dense Sal forest, and river streams. It might be the second-best zone of Corbett but the chances of spotting tigers are quite similar to the Dhikala zone. Not only tigers, here one can see different types of animals like Sambar, Hog, Chital, Elephant, and Black Beer. Moreover, this zone is home to the 600 species of resident and migratory birds, which makes it just right for birdwatching tour too. Garjiya Zone is approximately 3 kilometers from Ramnagar City, and tourists can enter here by the Garjiya gate.
